One might think, given the fact that we've been talking about primiaries and how much we enjoy them on and off for the past month, that I would post about Super Tuesday's being today. I'm not going to.
It surprised me, too, Trey. It really did.
Instead I'm going to talk about the fabulous walk that I took this morning, while you were in school, and I wasn't, because I have off and you don't.
Ahem.
I actually thought about taking my camera, and making up for the slacking off in the video department, but by the time this thought occurred to me, I was about five minutes away from home, and at that point turning back was ridiculous. But if I go out again later--which I might, 'cause I'm feeling really outdoorsy today--I'll take it.
[WARNING: Gracey's about to get momentarily poetic. You may need to avert your eyes]
I wish I could make you understand how pretty it was, though. I mean, things were damp, and it was windy, and kind of chilly, but it was still really nice. And I was walking down the road, and cars were going past me, which smells like Orlando, Florida in my opinion. And I might dislike going to Florida every year intesnsely (sorry Flordians--it's because of my nutball family), it's still a time of relaxation. And I was walking slow, and I went and bought a bagel because we didn't have any good food at my house.
And the wind was blowing, and making my hair go in my mouth a little, but still, it was great. And the air smelled nice, and I'm trying to tell you so hard that my writer's sensibilities aren't even upset that I'm starting every sentence with 'and'.
I really wished you could have come with me. You school sucks.
[End of possible poetic-ness.]
On the note of videos, you owe me one, buddy. Also, in light of your actually being ALLERGIC to yogurt, I've decided that you can substitute hummus, if you want. Only they don't sell little containers of hummus, so you have to eat one regular size container of hummus.
(Go with the yogurt. Really.)
Talk to you later. It's Super Tuesday!
Love,
Gracey
In light of the recent flurry of video posts--two from each of us--I've decided that it's time for something textual. Also, I'm definitley procrastinating on doing my challenge. However, Trey, I'm implementing a rule that you can't put off a video for more than a week if you're just dreading the challenge. If you're really ridiculously busy, that's another matter.
But, let's just say that you're really dreading having to lip sync to Britney Spears. You can't avoid that for more than a week.
Oh God, I don't want to do it.
I detest Britney Spears so much.
A consolation, though, is that nobody really watches our videos. It's not that big of a deal. So, I don't have to worry about a lot of people seeing it and making fun of me. I mean, you could be making me do something really truly horrible. Like, I dunno, wax my chin. Or eat a blenderized happy meal.
(Yes, some of us make refrences to B2.0. You didn't watch it, Trey, so you don't know what's happening. Ha.)
Trey, I'd like to hear your opinion on the television show Get Smart. And the upcoming movie (OMFG I can't wait for it. Love Maxwell Smart, love old TV shows, love Steve Carrell.).
Love,
Gracey
Reasons why Gracey's video, despite errors, is better than Trey's:
1. I had more picutres.
2. I had a video clip.
3. I cut off the music at the end of my video segment. You did not. You're supposed to do that, goose.
4. I was wearing that truly excellent hat.
5. I don't believe that that's your aunt. I think you're lying to me.
Also, YOU SUCK. Now I have to make a REAL movie. I was trusting on you taking waaaaay longer than that to make yours, so now I have to start making mine. Luckily, I saw something today that made for some truly excellent footage. At least, I thought so.
Unfortunately, my camera died, and now I have to charge it before I can finish the "real" video that you demanded. Rest assured that your returning challenge is gonna be nasty.
Fear it.
Also, though, you should fear my video. We've long since realized that I really, really suck at funny. Like, I'm passably funny textually, but as soon as that record button is hit, all the funny flies out the window.
:sigh:
By the way, my video is definitely on YouTube, and Trey's is possibly (it wasn't there when I checked, pal). I'm UPSunderground, and he's Cassiopedia1307.
Just throwing that out there.
Love,
Gracey
