1. I have decuded that what I am feeling right now can only be described in one way: death on speed. Like, imagine being dead, but not really dead. Like Madeline in The Fall of the House of Usher. (Didn't just ruin that for anyone, did I?) So, you SEEM dead, but you're not. But, before you fall into your catatonia, you take SPEED. Instead of going into a coma, you're awake, and THINK you have a lot of energy when you're sitting down, but as soon as you stand up, you feel really gross and tired.
So, basically, you feel like crap, and more stuff than fits in the human sinuses comes out your nose (I honestly believe that I ran out of snot long, long ago, and that I'm now dripping brains), and you have a freaking EXAM in the morning, which isn't good news, because any time you tilt your head in any direction but straight up and down, crap drips out.
Sorry if that grossed you out. But that's what it is. Death on speed.
2. It's a little weird that you know that, but, yeah, I can French braid my own hair. I can't do it to anyone ELSE'S hair--everyone else gets a Dutch braid, which is like an inverse French braid, which I will illustrate on my next video if someone reminds me.
3. Mel! Not only another reader, but someone who actually POSTED, and not only to say that they thought our sock monkey was cute. (Though shout out to DC or whoever, for actually posting and making sure we do actually exist.) But, Mel, if you ever post again, we'll be very excited to have you on board. Tell all your friends. Tell them to pretend they're interested.

Anyway, I'm reading Pride and Prejudice (just past L's elopement, for anyone who's read the book/knows the story) and even though I've read it before, I really want to read some more.

]]>So basically, tomorrow I switch all my classes cause my school is on the awesome block scheduling design. So I go from Algebra II, Physics, Spanish, and Health to Bio II, English II, US History I, and Fitness! I'm so excited you have no idea. English and History have always been my favorite subjects in school, because I prefer words WAY more than numbers, and frankly, I've had too many numbers these last few months. You can ask Gracey, I am a history beast, so I am ready to reclaim my crown as emperor.
And tonight, George W. Bush is doing his FINAL State of the Union, which is such a relief. I'm assuming most of the speech is going to be dedicated to the "recession" (it's a figment of everyone's imagination) and the $150 billion stimulus plan. Frankly, I think it's not going to work because most people are going to put the thousand or so dollars in the bank so they don't go bankrupt, not spend it on nice clothes and TVs. It's just going to make the government fall even more in debt, which is nice. This weekend, I saw this giant electronic billboard that counted the national debt and it goes up like $5 million every second. From a few days ago, each family has $77,000 of the national debt and the overall debt was $9 trillion. Fun stuff.

First off, I'm SO sorry about your grandmother. Today is offically SockMonkeySlippers' Day To Honor Kat's Grandma and Heath Ledger. Who, I do not believe committed suicide. He had a kid.
So, he shall be remembered along with anyone else who may have passed. My dog. My great-grandmother. Trey, after he eats those yogurts...
On that note, I'm not sure that I believe you're lactose intolerant. Also, even if you were, the yogurt wouldn't kill you. Suck it up, buddy, and eat it. You could have had jumping over things.
As for why Trey got to veto his challenge... We swapped favors. I didn't have to remake the Britney Spears video, and he didn't have to jump over things in public. Which is a shame, I know. The latter, that is.

]]>So today, the world was brought to its knees because our own Ennis Del Mar has died today. He was found dead in his NYC apartment from an apparent sleeping pill overdose. Sigh. Why do all the good ones have to commit suicide? He played numerous roles in movies, like Brokeback Mountain <3, 10 Things I Hate About You, and that new Batman movie. And he was only 28!
As for Gracey's challenge, IT'S ON! I just hope I have yogurt in my house. And I'd like to point out I'm lactose intolerant, so I'm risking my life here ladies and gentlemen.

Well, Trey, the video didn't work. But you saw it, and like hell am I doing another imitation of Britney Spears. I could hardly breathe through that wig, I will have you know.
Anyway, the stipulation you've given me is that I have to come up with a different challenge. For anyone who's reading, he had to jump over five things in public--a cup, something alive, someone wearing blue, a car... and I forget the fifth.
Personally, I thought it was a pretty good challenge. But, before I give you your new one, I have an institution to implement:
The Challenge Fund Jar.
It has come to my attention that at some points, our challenges may require a small amount of funding. So, The Challenge Fund Jar will offset these costs, and will be filled with money that comes from failure to complete challenges to certain specifications. (Note: Like Congress, you can not pass an ex post facto donation to the jar. Nice try, though.) The donations to this jar will be small. And won't come on every challenge. Just occassionally.
Because we both need to keep our own money.
So, for this challenge, you will eat five tubs of Yoplait Yogurt in three minutes, while giving me a short lesson on chromatography. For every tub of yogurt you do not completely finish, you must put one dollar in The Challenge Fund Jar.
As I calculate, this cannot possibly cost you more than four dollars, plus price of yogurt. I can provide the yogurt if absolutely necessary (it's for these kinds of things that TCFJ is coming into existence), but I'm gonna give you really gross flavors if you call on that. Promise.
Personally, I get about halfway through one tub of yogurt and feel like I'm about to puke. So I'm definitely looking forward to testing your ability to stomach it.

Sadly, my Romeo and Juliet video has been making its rounds throughout my school, which is sad and good. Good because we have a beastly amount of views compared to the other videos, and sad, because now EVERYONE knows.
And I agree with Gracey, Pandora is quite the top notch website. I suggest you use it if you don't feel like LEGALLY getting our music via the internet.

Okay, so there's been some weird sort of internet coup. Vox is suddenly different. :Gracey looks around with shifty, scared eyes, in a panicked sort of way: In case you didn't know this, Trey, I have this weird sort of change-phobia, where all things that change kind of send me into a panic for a while.
Like when my mom painted my room while I wasn't home? Yeah, the fact that my room was suddenly orange freaked the hell out of me for a while. Then the paint fumes cleared my system and I got over it.
So, this video. I swear, I'm planning on doing it tomorrow. However, there's the slight issue that my grandmother is coming for her annual three-week January visit, which questions my privacy. I mean, yeah, it does have the good effect that I have to clean my room, so you'll see clean space as opposed to miscellaneous crap behind my video self.
But if she's floating around sketchily, as people in this house are wont to do, I'm not lip-syncing to Britney Spears. Sorry, buddy. Not happening.
Actually, there's a long list of things that would cause me to not make that video. I shall review some of them: my death, if I mysteriously have a date, nuclear armageddon, my house catching on fire, computer crash, worldwide pandemic of TB. The list goes on and on.

Alright. In light of our agreement/disagreement session, I have several things to comment upon.
First: I'm not sure I believe you about the comics. Everyone loves comics on some level. Even me. And you know how many times I've read/seen Pride and Prejudice. So, I think that underneath it all, you love them just a little.

I can't believe you've never seen Ghost or American Pie. NEITHER? REALLY?
I mean, yeah, they're both the most terrible movies in the history of forever (except maybe The City of Joy, also starring Patrick Swayze, as it turns out), but everone's heard of them, and most everyone's seen them. I will admit, I have not seen Ghost in its entirety, but that could very well be because I had to go and throw up.
So, as for music right now, I'm not actually going to talk about a particular band. I'm going to break out a megalith of musical wealth. Use it wisely, people.
Naturally, I refer to the godly Pandora.com. What Pandora Radio is, is an online radio of sorts, where you can listen to 'stations' based entirely off of the kind of music you like to hear.
What you do, is enter the name of a band that you're listening to. Then, Pandora's magic elves will find you songs that are either by said band, or have similar influences to said band, or sound similar to said band. You can create and save any number of stations (right now I have about five), and edit or delete the stations you already have.
The only catch is that you have to sign up using an email account, and that you can only skip so many songs per hour. After that, you have to listen to everything they throw at you, or change stations. But other than that, it's quite possibly one of the more excellent things in life. I'm telling you, people. This stuff is golden.
You really can't go wrong with Pandora.com, if you like anything from Vivaldi to Maximo Park, to R.E.M. to Snoop Dog.

1. I despise ALL comics, as they're mindless pieces of literature. Seriously, why would anyone want to read about these beefed up, UBER (I'm talking UBER with the two dots of the U, that kind of UBER) MACHO men who are obviously doped up on steroids. Never mind genetic mutations. I've never liked the superhero movies/shows as well. They're so boring. The good guy ALWAYS wins, and gets some defenseless, stereotypical 1950's girl. Blah.
2. We all have exams Gracey. I have mine Thursday and Friday of next week. I have three finals (Spanish II, Algebra II/Trig, and Physics I) and a midterm for my Research II class. I'm all ready to beast! I just really don't want to study. I hate studying for big exams, it's way to broad. I prefer concentrated tests, not those involving gel electrophoresis prep/loading (God, I'm so bad at those). I'm also pretty mediocre at plasmid mapping, which is funny, cause it should be relatively easy. Lucky me, that's like half of my research midterm. Gonna faillllllll.

However, I am neither (well, I suppose the latter is debatable). I mean, leprechauns are nasty and skanky and devious, and unicorns can't be beat for sheer so-freaking-frighteningly-cheeful-ness. However, leprechauns are genuinely frightening, and unicorns are only too fucking cheerful creepy, so unicorns. Trey says: Pink unicorns because I really do have a rainbow fetish.
11. I'm almost done with Are We There Yet. Really weird writing style that man has. Kinda good book, though incredibly disappointed there's no subtle homosexuality. And Julia's a ho.
